Visa Policy for Rwanda

When planning a visit to Rwanda, you have three different visa options: Entry eVisa, Conference eVisa, or the East Africa eVisa. All of these are available via Natvisa and make the process of arriving into the country quick and easy. Any of these visas can be applied for online, which you’ll do by filling out a simple online application form. You can either make your payment at the time of application or upon arrival in Rwanda. When your application is processed, you’ll then receive an email confirmation, which you’ll just need to show upon your arrival in Rwanda. Currently, visitors will also need a passenger locator form to be filled out online before arriving in Rwanda.

The Entry eVisa allows you to stay for up to thirty days and is a single entry visa. The East Africa visa lasts for ninety days, allowing multiple entries to the three countries and a stay of up to thirty days. Finally, the Conference eVisa also allows stays of up to thirty days. If you are planning to combine your trip with a visit to Kenya or Uganda, then the East Africa eVisa will be your best option. Unless your home country is on the list of exempt nationalities, you will need to obtain your visa in advance from Natvisa to enter the country. To complete your application, ensure your passport is valid for six months or longer following your trip to Rwanda.


Kenya Online Visa

For anyone visiting Kenya who is not on the list of exempt countries, you’ll need to apply for your visa online with Natvisa before traveling. To ensure your application is accepted, you’ll need an onward travel ticket, a minimum of one blank page in your passport, and a passport with six months validity. The application process is straightforward, and you’ll receive an eVisa to print out at home via email. Once you arrive in Kenya, you’ll simply need to present this at your point of entry.

Proof of accommodation is needed for the Kenya visa application. This could be a hotel booking confirmation or evidence of another place you are staying during your trip. A trip to Kenya is a very exciting prospect, and now that you can complete your application online for your eVisa, it’s simpler than ever before. A valid Kenya eVisa will allow you one single entry to the country. You’ll make your payment online during the application process, which can be completed with a debit or credit card. You’ll receive communication throughout the process, which will let you know if your application was approved or denied. Once approved, you can download and print out the visa ready for your arrival in Kenya.


Uganda Visa Online

You’ll save time and money applying online for your visa for Uganda, as you’ll no longer have to travel to an embassy or complete a lengthy application process. As with the other countries, you’ll need to complete an online application form after deciding which visa you would like to apply for. The application form can be found on the government’s website, and after completing it, you’ll submit your documentation and visa fee. The visa is usually processed within just a few days, and your eVisa will be sent straight to your email address. From there, print the visa to show to the customs officer upon arrival in Uganda.

One unique consideration for Uganda eVisa applications is the necessity for a yellow fever vaccination certificate. This will need to be uploaded as part of your visa application for Uganda. For visits to Uganda, there is also a transit visa available for anyone passing through the country. For holidays, sightseeing, and visiting family and friends, you’ll need a tourist visa. An eVisa for Uganda is valid for 45 days and allows for one entry into the country. For updates on your application, keep an eye on your email account for notifications.


Tanzania eVisa

The Tanzania eVisa will be delivered straight to your email address after applying on Natvisa. There’s a choice of single and multiple entry visas, which are valid for up to 90 days or a year respectively. The tourist eVisa is suitable for sightseeing, meeting family and friends, or a general holiday visa. To apply, you’ll need to upload a photo of the applicant, your passport, and a ticket to show your booked departure from Tanzania. The eVisa is only valid if you are entering Tanzania through one of the following airports: Julius Nyerere International Airport, Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, or Kilimanjaro International Airport. It’s also valid for entries via the Namanga or Tunduma land borders.

Once your application is approved, it will be delivered straight to your email address to print and show to the authorities upon arrival in Tanzania. Your passport will also need to have a minimum of six months validity at this point. There’s also an arrival declaration form, which you’ll present to immigration. A single entry visa if 50 USD, and a multiple entry visa is 100 USD. After your eVisa is approved, it will be valid for one year from this date.
