Playing on Course : Effective 01/07/2007 :
The following Rules must be respected by ALL on the course or in any competition.
- Local Rules shall be respected.
- All must have an official handicap, or a valid handicap card.
- Men’s maximum handicap is 28
- Men’s Provisional handicaps are 29-36 and are recommended to be at the Golf Clinic to reduce their handicap to a playing handicap.
- Once the Men qualify to 28, they shall be allowed on the course.
- The Test will be carding three score cards of playing 28 and a reasonable understanding of the Rules of Golf & Etiquette.
- The Test shall be done together with the PRO & the Captain.
- Ladies maximum handicap is 36
- Ladies Provisional handicap is 37-45 and are recommended to be at the Golf Clinic to reduce their handicap to a playing handicap.
- Once the Ladies qualify to 36, they shall be allowed on the course.
- The Test will be carding three score cards of playing 36 and a reasonable understanding of the Rules of Golf & Etiquette.
- The Test shall be done together with the PRO & the Captain.
- All members must have a valid membership
- Expired memberships will be treated as “non-members” amongst other implications.
- Non members must pay their Green Fees & show their valid handicap card prior to teeing off.
- The Course shall be CLOSED to Non-competitors during any competition.
- Once a member has registered for a competition (Direct registration, via a colleague or by phone), the competition fees MUST be paid.
- Once a member has registered for a competition and has a permanent caddy, the caddy fees must be paid. The member may call the Caddy Master to free his/her caddy for some one else to waive this fee.
- Rules of Golf shall be 100% applicable regarding the Tee off times & draws for competitions.
- Dress Code must be respected.
- Players are requested to deposit their score cards after playing 18 holes.
- Using the course or a green as a driving/practice range is not permitted. Delegated practice ranges should be used.
- Every one must register at the reception prior to Teeing off.
- Players are requested to respect Golf Etiquette & Safety on the course.
